Northside announces a significant advancement in women’s health, as Dr. Angela Falany becomes the first OB/GYN in the Metro Atlanta area to successfully implant the Altaviva™ tibial neurostimulator device for the treatment of urge urinary incontinence. The procedure was performed Feb. 4 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
The Altaviva system offers a minimally invasive therapy delivered through a simple ankle procedure without the need for sedation, providing women with a new option to manage symptoms and improve daily quality of life.
