Northside Hospital Cherokee is celebrating two team members recognized among the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch.
Josephine Sagoo, CPNP-PC, a pediatric nurse practitioner with Northside Cherokee Pediatrics, and Mallory Woernlein, outpatient radiology manager at Northside Hospital Cherokee, were selected for the honor, which highlights emerging leaders making a measurable impact in Cherokee County. The honorees were recognized at the Chamber’s Good Morning Cherokee breakfast on June 4.

"Their dedication to exceptional patient care, servant leadership, and community engagement reflects the very best of Northside Hospital Cherokee and our ongoing commitment to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve."
The Chamber’s Top 10 in 10 initiative recognizes professionals ages 20-40 who demonstrate excellence in their careers, a strong commitment to community service and a dedication to servant leadership. According to the Chamber, “This recognition honors emerging leaders who are making measurable contributions to Cherokee County through professional excellence, community engagement and servant leadership.”
Sagoo and Woernlein were chosen from a competitive pool of nominees evaluated on leadership impact, volunteerism and contributions beyond their professional roles. Both are known for their dedication to improving patient care and strengthening the communities they serve.
Sagoo provides pediatric care to families across Cherokee County, while Woernlein leads efforts to advance outpatient radiology services and enhance the patient experience at Northside Cherokee.
